Re: Tim Cook
Unfortunately each time I have tried to access the Business Week article
in which Tim Cook admits his homosexuality and takes pride in it, my
computer has frozen up. If anyone can send me a plain text copy it would be
appreciated greatly.Any link to the article will do me no good; my computer
won't
allow access.
This said, parts of Tim Cook's essay have been quoted on several sites and
a few comments are possible and necessary.
(1) No-one in Apple higher management knows diddle squat about the Bible.
Tim Cook is clueless about what it says, there is no question about it. His
utter hypocrisy about homosexuality being "a gift from God" is a complete
travesty. While the charge of blasphemy is out of fashion and means little
these days, what he has done consists of gross blasphemy. No less than 30
verses of the Bible condemn sodomy unequivocally, about which I have sent an
annotated list of verses to everyone here, with extended discussion about
some of the most important passages.
(2) Tim Cook refers to Martin Luther King, Jr., as an "inspiration." WTH?
King was explicitly anti-homosexual. It seems that Cook has forgotten -if
he ever knew- that MLK was a Baptist minister.
(3) What this does for Christians working at Apple I can only guess. But
I will guess. None will say one word, none will question Tim Cook's
advocacy of homosexual causes. None will defend the Biblical stand on the
issue.
None -as in zero, nobody, anyone.
(4) Philip Schiller, Apple chief of global marketing, said that he is
"proud" to be an employee of Tim Cook. If it was me I would feel the deepest
shame and anguish working for a sodomite who doesn't care when he rectum is
used as a sex organ by some other homosexual, who thinks it is good to
perform fellatio on some other homosexual, who -like most homosexuals-
regards
playing with feces as part of sexual conduct as something good, and on and
on through a lengthy list of typical homosexual behaviors, all of which are
disgusting beyond belief and clear indications of psychopathology.
(5) It will take me a little while, and I'm not certain what my best
options are, but if it is humanly possible my intention is to publicly
humiliate
that sonovabitch and ruin his reputation completely.

Apple CEO Tim Cook: 'I'm proud to be gay'
_ Brett Molina_ (http://www.usatoday.com/staff/2177/brett-molina/) , USA
TODAY 4:32 p.m. EDT October 30, 2014
In an _essay published by Bloomberg Businessweek_
(http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2014-10-30/tim-cook-im-proud-to-be-gay)
advocating for human
rights and equality, Cook says he was inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King to
set aside his desire for privacy to do something "more important."
"While I have never denied my sexuality, I haven't publicly acknowledged it
either, until now," writes Cook. "So let me be clear: I'm proud to be gay,
and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me."
Cook becomes the first openly gay CEO of a Fortune 500 company, according
to gays rights group Human Rights Campaign, who applauded the Apple chief's
essay.
"Tim Cook's announcement today will save countless lives," says HRC
President Chad Griffin. "He has always been a role model, but today millions
across the globe will draw inspiration from a different aspect of his life."

Cook says he's been open with others about being gay, but felt compelled to
publicly come out to help others. "I don't consider myself an activist,
but I realize how much I've benefited from the sacrifice of others," writes
Cook. "So if hearing that the CEO of Apple is gay can help someone
struggling to come to terms with who he or she is, or bring comfort to anyone
who
feels alone, or inspire people to insist on their equality, then it's worth
the trade-off with my own privacy."
Reaction has been mostly positive. On Twitter, Apple's chief of global
marketing, Philip Schiller, showed support for Cook. "Proud to work for you and
 be your friend," Schiller said.
