Great fun. I was particularly struck by this quote:

Another way to read it is that the Democrats had become so out of touch with 
the every day reality of white Americans the Trump really did seem much more 
"reasonable, humane and compassionate."

Democrats could easily be out to do Trump on those dimensions. But they would 
have to decisively their self satisfied self righteousness. And decisively 
condemn their own extremist wings. Neither of which is likely to be easy.  

In fact, that's why I think there needs to be an anti-trump who will pull off a 
similar takeover of the Democratic Party from their establishment. With 
something similar to but far less pure than Marxism.
