She's got a 'Ham Sunday" video that covers installing Travis Goodspeed's 
firmware hacking on the Tytera MD-380 (DMR radio). There is a claim that this will 
be a live weekly series.

The video is umm, basic on the radio side.  It shows you can ace the 3 tests, 
but still not understand a lot until you get some practical  experience to make 
it all sink in.  The video covers unboxing the MD-380 (and building/installing 
the experimental firmware using Cygwin on Windows, so it could be a good intro 
for those who are reluctant to dive in.  Adafruit has some STM32 products, so 
hopefully there will be good things to come at least for the 
electronics/hacking side.
