Well, I guess that could be true.

But monkeys could fly out of my butt any minute, too.

I would guess the odds of either being the case is about equal.

(Hint: if Logitech was dumping the radio after all of 6 weeks, they
would cut the price to do the dumping...  They haven't.  If Amazon wants
to boost their sales, though, they would find an item that has some
demand and a reasonable profit margin and perhaps get some additional
discounts in the form of co-op advertising money, etc...  Consumer
electronics at the retail level often has a nice 40% or more margin:
companies like Amazon that buy by the truckload may even see higher
margins on MSRP items, so they can cut prices by a ton before losing
money.)

Best Buy saw something cool and wanted to push it to create traffic,
Amazon saw them doing it and followed suit.  or the other way around.
