... Well, I guess that could be true. But monkeys could fly out of my butt any minute, too. I would guess the odds of either being the case is about equal. (Hint: if Logitech was dumping the radio after all of 6 weeks, they would cut the price to do the dumping... They haven't. If Amazon wants to boost their sales, though, they would find an item that has some demand and a reasonable profit margin and perhaps get some additional discounts in the form of co-op advertising money, etc... Consumer electronics at the retail level often has a nice 40% or more margin: companies like Amazon that buy by the truckload may even see higher margins on MSRP items, so they can cut prices by a ton before losing money.) Best Buy saw something cool and wanted to push it to create traffic, Amazon saw them doing it and followed suit. or the other way around. -- snarlydwarf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ snarlydwarf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71598 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
