Ever stand around places like this and "eavesdrop" on the advice given to people? Amazing. There have been a couple of times where, after the salesperson left, I went to the customer and let them know that they had just been told a bunch of ____________ (fill in appropriate word) Of course there have been a few times where I have been impressed with the tech skill and acumen too. Rare indeed.
My son has an old analog TV. He needed a converter box. I sent him to Walmart. The salesperson there told him he didn't need it anymore. (: Of course I found out the real reason he didn't "need" it.
