All valid points about the Radio in general.  But probably of little
value to the posters intended usage.

UI:  Seems simple enuff to me, there is a learning curve to any new
product.
iTunes:  Stated MySB use only, iTunes is not in use.
Alarm:  Stated kitchen use, no alarm needed.
Staff Picks:  I doubt the user will limit themselves to Staff Picks (my
bet is Staff Picks will be phased out in future). 
Ex:  Staff Picks has a single stream of BBC (that I can find).  Whereas
going to Internet Radio > World  > National Networks > BBC > All
Stations gives 11 BBC streams.  Or, just type in BBC within Internet
Radio > Search and you get dozens (possibly hundreds) of BBC streams
including sub-Menu's.  No App to install for any of the above.
