I read this quote last night and was really excited because I am having the same issue. I was using a radiotime URL for my local radio station on mysqueezebox.com and it would take a long time to start playing and the backup alarm would kick in instead. I changed my URL for my alarm to the actual mp3 stream and went to bed. Sadly, I woke up with the stupid backup alarm again. I double checked and the stream was able to play just fine. I don't remember having any of these issues in 7.3. Was the timeout for the backup alarm significantly reduced? Is there a way to change it? I would think something like 10-15 seconds would be appropriate. Sure, you might wake up 15 seconds later than you want, but at least I wouldn't want to throw my Boom out the window every morning. -- tebrown ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tebrown's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72374 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
