Do you ever switch between mysb.com and Squeezeboxserver? There is an option to synchronize settings between mysb.com and Squeezeboxserver which I believe has caused similar problems in the past. I've had presets change or go away on my Boom. I am always connected to Squeezeboxserver, but there's also an implicit connection to mysb.com. When I turned off the synchronization between mysb.com and Squeezeboxserver, my preset issues seemed to go away.
