Hi there

anyone else noticed the standard clock looks a bit weird? It's as
though each character takes a fixed width. It's fine when you have wide
characters eg 3:45 but at 4:15 there is too wider gap between the 1 and
the 5. Also centering is off when you have times before 10:00 (ie 3
numbers). Is the clock done like this for a reason? The clock on the
Boom by comparison is implemented much better IMO with variable spacing.


I know erland's Information Screen can replace the clock but as far as
I know that can't replicate the PM text and different size fonts of the
date from the original clock (which I like). 

Anyone any input if there is anything I can do? Or do I grin and bear
it?
