I just bought a Squeezebox Radio and turned it on for the first time today. It began with the initial setup steps and after it connected successfully to my wireless network, it said there was a firmware update available for it. I allowed it to continue and install the update. Afterwards, it was at a menu that only had two choices: "My Music" & "Settings". When I rotate the knob now, it doesn't move the selection on the menu at all. I can press the knob in to select the item it is on, but that is all. So after the firmware update I have been unable to finish the setup and actually use the product.
I tried holding down the "More" button while powering on and it does say resetting to factory settings but when it is done it comes back to the two items above. The only thing that give a different result is if I press the rewind button while powering on. This also says resetting to factory... and when it finishes booting, it starts at the initial setup menu, however, the knob still doesn't move the selection so I cannot do anything useful! Does anyone know how to fix this? I saw one other post with the same symptom but no solution.
