Dave, I must obviously be connecting the router/modem/computer incorrectly. Please humor me... From my telephone jack comes a wire which is plugged into the modem that I got from Verizon. The wire goes into the "telephone style" port labeled DSL. Just next to it is a yellow port labeled " Data ". >From that port exits a yellow wire marked " ethernet " and it goes up to the " ethernet " port of my eMac. To the side of that port is the hole for the power supply which is plugged into a power strip. The internet works fine. That's how it was before I got the Linksys Router. I'm confused on the router part. If I plug the blue wire supplied by Linksys into one of the four blue ports in the router and connect it to the ethernet port in my eMac, then where does the wire from the yellow " internet " port on the Router go? I did put it into the yellow data port of the Verizon modem but then I have no internet. And it's gotta go somewhere. ( yes, I did plug the power supply cord from the router into my power strip ) I know there's gotta be a simple answer for this but my brain is fried! What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Michael K.
