All of my kids (3 in total now ranging from 10 months to 5 years old) have Booms in their rooms. In our house, music is an essential tool at times for bedtime. It really helps with naps by creating background noise for the little one so that when a phone rings or something, it isn't a jarring noise out of nowhere! My daughter started out with a Panasonic bookshelf system with a Sony mp3 player connected to the line-in. It is so much simpler to manage with the Squeezebox - load the music on the server and everybody has access! One day, your child will ask you to put on some of "your music" and it will bestill your heart. My daughter has requested Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker Live at Town Hall for the past 3 nights. :-). Daddy's girl indeed!
