I currently also have a 'trivial' setup. A 24/7 SB-Server, no special tweaks in the Web-UI or configuration that I am aware of. I'm running the latest 7.4.x Nightly (Radio firmware: r8381, server firmware: r29879). No 3rd-party Plugins or Applets installed. I went to a local mp3-song, pressed '+', moved it to the end of the current playlist. Then set an alarm to play the current playlist. At alarm-time I have a nice fading in mp3 ! Tried the same with a sound-effect and an internet stream. Again nicely fading in audio ! So all I can do is to repeat myself > > So could you answer the following questions: > - is it happening with every alarm or on a random basis ? > - what type of stream are you currently using for alarm (local mp3, > internet-radio, playlist, built-in tunes, a favourite) ? > - if you change the alarm tone (try any of the other possibilities) do > you get a proper fade-in ? > - what is the last thing you do before the alarm goes off ? > - what is the state of the radio at alarm time (power off, on, which > screen) ... > - where are you configuring your alarm - directly on the radio or with > the Web-UI ? -- bluegaspode 1x SB-Controller+Receiver (Duet), 1xSB-Boom. 1xSB-Radio Server (7.4.1) running on SheevaPlug (Ubuntu) with attached Western Digital MyBook Essential.
