Please, use NTP! And look for the logs in your firewall for blocked attempts at outbound connections on port 123/udp. That's the server port for NTP.
Maybe I missed the obvious: there is also a TZ setting in mysqueezebox.com, in the players list. The correct current offset is UTC-7.
