Good suggestion, I might try Erlands clock Does ist only work with the Server? Or can it run locally?
In my opion, too less thought went into studying the scenarious of user behaviour. In what situation one would need certain things. For me, this one would be perfect: 1. Minimum brightness user controlable, as its now in 7.50 2. Regardless of minimum brightness, increase it an additional 30% when operating the Radio. Until 100% is reached of course. Stay at this brightness level for 30 seconds, then back to minimum brightness or whatever the sensor suggests. 3. When using the sleep timer, a user configurable fade out would be great. 4. When the alarm triggers, I want the brightness of the clock increasing in sync with the volume, until brightness reaches 100%. When you wake up, things should be simple and clear. I need to check the time as fast and easy as I can. 5. Turning of the alarm / Snooze: For me, the perfect scenario would be: Pressing the knob or turning it would both send the Radio to snooze. I don't want to fiddle with the knob, looking at the display if I just triggered the snooze, or accidently turned it of. I'm not that conscious in the morning ;) To really turn of the alarm, one should press and hold the knob for 3 seconds. At the moment, you would get the playlist functions by pressing and holding the knob. I don't need that when waking up. Only choice for me is: Sleep again, or turn off the Radio. I don't need anythign fancy at 6:00 am. 6. Ah yes, the clock screensaver should also display the next alarm time in smaller letters under the actual time. So I don't have to always look again what time I set. Well, I understand that its only my opinion how the unit should operate. But maybe I'm not alone.
