Hi all, I also want to achieve this DIY battery and would appreciate it if someone could mock up a quick guide to put online or email pretty please.
I was wondering about using a battery pack from Maplin: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=31427 a molex connector from RS http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAction.html?method=getProduct&R=0406502&cm_vc=prev_uk pre-crimped wire also from RS http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAction.html?method=getProduct&R=5128721#header a 10 ohm NTC 25oC thermistor again from RS! http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAction.html?method=getProduct&R=0467620 Can anyone tell me if the stuff I have identified is appropriate? I now have 2 squeezebox radios and a receiver and I want to take one of these chaps out to the garden once the snow has gone!
