That's why I was asking - to sort fact from supposition. The reason I'm interested in this in particular is I'm building my own pack and on my first test I was monitoring the temperature. The temperature rose fairly slowly - after a couple of hours the temperature started to climb more rapidly (as expected for a charged battery) and I was hoping that charging would then stop. However, it reached 40 degrees C but which I don't beleive is too high for a NiMH cell but i didn't have any more time to monitor the temperature so I unplugged. I haven't had any spare time since to check my wiring, the voltages at the taps etc. Hopefully I'll have some more time soon. I suppose it is possible that different capacities of cells have different thermal responses when charging. My cells are 2600mAh. -- elziko ------------------------------------------------------------------------ elziko's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11835 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75056 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
