I've read for the Radio that you first press and hold the FF or REW until you get the timeline, then let go, then press it again and now it acts as FF or REW.
Most times the podcast just reloads from the beginning. I can get this to work sometimes, so I assume it is just a difficult trick I will learn. On the Boom, with the little remote, I can FF and Rew.
