Being reasonably Linux capable, point 2 sounds interesting (and doesn't scare me ;) ), I'll look into that further (the new Squeezeplay based devices such as the SBR and Touch are proper low-powered computers running Linux under the covers right, whereas the SB1/2/3/Boom/Transporter are effectively dumb devices with not much computing capability other than music stream decompression, right?) On that basis, you should be able to customise the new devices to quite an extent? WRT to point 3, the plan is for local music only, though web radio doesn't bother me particularly, the Apps function, Facebook specifically, does. This is what I want control over, mostly. "Parental Controls" or the concept of admin and non-admin access to the device, would be ideal...
