I can't help you much with a bricked Radio. Best I can offer is to remove the battery, unplug Radio, let sit for a while, try plugging it back in.
I suppose if the FW is truly corrupted (hopefully not) then it's probably DOA. But, if you do get it running again, here is a way to refuse future updates. When you get the update prompt, scroll down and select Help, then hit the Home button. I've done this dozens of times from numerous different SBS versions and MySB connections.
