You can reduce the volume of the fallback alarm by installing the
plugin that automatically reduces the volume by half.  That is a simple
fix for the actual level of the noise.  It takes two reboots of the
unit, 1 to install the feature, 1 to install the plugin.

I solve my alarm issues by just playing the same song from a playlist
called alarm.  I know that most people like to wake up with a radio
station and I would probably change if it worked.  I run an SBS
internal server 24/7 which a lot of people dont as well.  I look
forward to improvements in time.
