It's still hard to understand because I can stop SBS while the Radio is
playing the internet radio stream and continues without problems (not
connected to SBS or MSB).

So the radio knows how to keep track of time and alarm without SBS (or
MSB) and it knows how to stream internet radio without SBS (or MSB).

Logically, it should be possible to combine the two.

I guess the problem is that for now it relies on the "original" server
to tell it what to stream (URL stored on the server) and if this server
is unavailable it will use the fall back sound.

First option
Couldn't it just switch to MSB automatically? is there any way to
configure this? like "if SBS is unavailable for >5 min the switch"
perhaps it's more complicated than this (usually is :-) )

Second option
If the software was enhanced a bit the radio could store the URL for
the internet stream localy (as it does with the alarm time) and use
this information in case the server is unavailable. I guess this would
benefit SBS users as well as MSB users in case MSB is down.
