Here is a status report for those monitoring this bug:

When 7.5.0 was released there was both new firmware for Squeezebox
Radio and new software on mysqueezebox.com. People started reporting
that their SB Radios stopped playing and many attributed this to
problems to the 7.5.0 firmware. It seems highly likely that the actual
cause was a bug introduced in to the mysqueezebox.com software. This
bug was fixed on 17 May. Since then, behaviour should have reverted to
that of 7.4.2. This is the key message in this comment.

In the process of analysing the problems, we uncovered a number of
vulnerabilities in the interactions between a player and
mysqueezebox.com which could, under some circumstances, cause playback
to stop unnecessarily. The SB
Radio (and other SP-based players including the SB Touch) is slightly
more likely to be affected by these than are older players (Classic,
Boom, Duet, etc.) because of small differences in timings used by the
firmware. We also uncovered a couple of related bugs in the SP
firmware. None of these are changes between 7.4.2 and 7.5.0.

Testing is currently under way for changes to both mysqueezebox.com and
the firmware used for Radio and Touch to fix the identified bugs and
substantially reduce the vulnerabilities. These fixes will be included
in 7.5.1 and should represent an enhancement over 7.4.2 in this area."
