I'm not sure if it won't roll back because I previously reinstalled the new firmware numerous times in an attempt to fix the problem, but I tried at least 15 times to roll back to 7.4 it never happens. Here's what I did:
Press/hold power until it completely shuts off, then press/hold rewind and at the same time press power until it restarts. I am certain there is absolutely no problem with the router.
