I have been observing this more closely since this thread started. For me the unit shuts off (goes back to standby clock) only when I turn the radio on by pressing a preset button. When it shuts off and I press the same preset again it shows the correct screen but will not play even after pressing the right arrow button. I can press another preset and then go back to the original preset and it plays fine. Only rarely will it shut off again.
