I use presets and have had similar problems. What I found helpful is to turn SBRadio on with the power button, then hit the preset. At this point I see at the lower left screen the square stop icon is showing. If I stop here the Radio usually goes off but if I press play (right arrow) it usually stays on. Occasionally, after hitting play it will show the pause icon in the lower left screen and turn off but hitting play again will restore it. So, power on/preset/play.
