I was going to ask if you had any alarms "enabled" but I see that specifically said you don't use alarms. I just tried disabling my alarm. No change but interestingly, the alarm icon still appeared on the off screensaver. I then turned on SBS and switched to it. I disabled the alarm there (I don't have MSB and SBS synchronized). Only then did the alarm icon disappear. Then, I switched back to MSB.com and turned SBS off. I know that makes no sense at all. I'm just describing what happens. The most interesting thing is now I cannot reproduce the behaviors in my post. In other words, when I turn on with a present, it stays on. When I turn it off, it stays off. How frustrating. Are enabled alarms creating these issues? If so, what a mess.
