I was being a little sarcastic. With all the Radio's problems with alarms, it's an unfortunate choice to make if you're looking for a reliable device to wake you up in the morning. I would certainly return it if that's why I bought it. It makes a shitty clock/radio, even if the alarms _did_ work. The screen is too small to read the clock from more than a few feet away. There's no snooze button, no backlit buttons.
