After trying several, my favorite podcast client is Juice (it's free on their website). It can be set to poll for new podcast episodes at regular intervals, and it has a maintenance feature that will automatically delete old podcasts after x days. Also of course, iTunes & Zune are popular podcast clients too.
What I was doing there for a while is using Juice to maintain my podcast library, configuring the "Save" directory as a path inside of my Music Library, then navigating to it from SBR. Of course, you'll have to run SB server to access it.
