I think the quality of the connection is a red herring - or a scapegoat. In any typical 24 hours, I spend several times as many hours listening to Di.fm on my Roku SoundBridge as I do listening to the same stations over the same WiFi connection on my Squeezebox Radio.
All day long, I have flawless playback on the Roku. My internet connection and DI.fm's servers are bombproof. Yet, every evening when I retreat to the bedroom, I have to fiddle with the Squeezebox Radio's eccentricities. What a difference. -- TJ_ Squeezebox Radio, hardware 5, firmware r9009 - eccentric UI, erratic firmware. (Replaces Roku Soundbridge Radio, RIP - excellent UI, egregious hardware.) Roku Soundbridge M1001 - needs periodic reboot, otherwise excellent. Linksys WRT54G with DD-WRT. PC n/a - turned off at night when I use Squeezebox Radio. Therefore, using mysqueezebox.com.
