Concluded experimenting. Checked with different browsers etc. It all boils down to the same: After full reset everything works perfect for a day or so. After that. something is corrupting the radio internally and the problems mentioned come back.
I guess the best is to fold the hand and wait for the next version, with, hopefully, less memory leaks (or whatever overflows internally). Until then a daily cold restart is probably the only cure.
