Hello, Just woke up to a malfunctioning Squeezebox Radio this morning, and now it's stuck in an endless cycle of automatic reboots.
You'll have to forgive me as I try to retrace my steps as things are still a little foggy. I think the first thing I realized is that I was hearing very grainy/static music coming from the unit, so that actually woke me up. I think the screen had a message about some kind of error occuring and whether I wanted to submit the info to Logitech support. I tried to select the option to allow it, but noticed the response was very sluggish. I gave it several minutes but nothing changed on the screen, so in frustration I attempted to reboot the unit as usual by holding the power button then pressing it again. It powered off correctly, though slowly, even playing the shutdown jingle. I then powered it back on. Since then, the unit now is stuck in an endless reboot cycle. The white Logitech logo comes up, then the next screen comes up "Free Your Music", I hear a single pop or click where it would normally play the startup jingle. It hangs on the screen for several minutes, then goes black, and the cycle repeats. I am unable to factory reset the unit. I have tried pressing and holding the "More" button at various points of the reboot cycle, even completely through a full reboot cycle, but I never see an option to factory reset. I have unplugged the unit, left it unplugged for several minutes, and plugged back in. Has anyone else been caught in this endless reboot? I will be submitting an RMA request shortly. -- spltscreen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ spltscreen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41003 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82673 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
