Adding to BLatSD's clever workaround... You could also try disabling SBS > Settings > MySqueezeBox > Integration This Sync's certain player settings between SBS and MySB, I presume Presets are included in this Sync.
What I've always wondered with the Sync Integration is "which settings takes precedence, those on MySB or SBS".
