Hi All,
I've got a brand new SB Radio running version 7.5.4 r9408 (latest
update). I want to use it to receive and play live audio. I am in
control of the live audio being encoded. I'm currently using Adobe
Flash Media Live Encoder, but I can use any other encoder I want (or
multiple encoders). In fact, I tried using the live streaming features
built into VLC, and even Windows Media Encoder 9. However, I can't seem
to generate a stream that's compatible with the SB Radio. The closest I
came was when using VLC - I produced a stream encapsulated as ASF/WMV
using the WMA2 codec at 128kbps and 44100 sampling (available via HTTP
on port 8999 of the encoding computer). So I used the Favorites
feature of the SB Radio to store the URL using the public IP of the
encoding computer, something like "http://192.128.1.120:8999/sgcc";,
except the IP was the real public IP. Unfortunately, the SB Radio just
keeps saying "Buffering...2%...20%...7%...11%", etc. It can't seem to
get the sound output - it's caught in some kind of weird buffering
loop.

Can someone out there help me out? Is there some encoding tool I can
use that will generate output and serve it up in such a way that the SB
Radio will successfully play it?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Mike
