Hi, Sorry but it's yet another Alarm thread... I had read the other alarm threads but was overly comforted by comments saying that a 24/7 server alarm works fine. I run a 24/7 server.
So I replaced my Pure wifi radio with a SB Radio yesterday. I used it a bit and liked it. Then I thought I'd better set up an alarm for Saturday as a test. I left my headphones in after listening to internet radio in bed. Set alarm 0530, Planet Rock. Result= a few seconds of planet rock fading in followed by a switch from speakers to headphone! Is there a fix for this or do I have to ensure I never fall asleep with headphones in? Can anyone explain why this reasonably complex behaviour resulted. Would turning fade in off help? I went a step further and tried to set an alarm with no headphones in for BBC Radio Scotland but I just got a message saying something along the lines of Playlist Empty. BBC Radio 4=same result. The way I am selecting a radio station is using the Favourites list. What am I doing wrong? My objective is to be able to listen to stuff to help me get to sleep without disturbing my wife and then wake up to BBC Radio Scotland. Is this achievable?
