I just don't think it is an inherent problem with all SB Radio's. Like others in here I do not have such issues with my WiFi Radio. It's either your radio (return it) or your WiFi environment (fix it).
There is nothing really "smart" about auto switching WiFi ch's, most WiFi routers do that, even some very cheap ones. If your router is constantly changing ch's that would indicate a very crowded ch spectrum, and/or possible interference. Google some basic WiFi setup tips and one of the first things many recommend is turning OFF auto switching, using only ch's 1 or 6 or 11 (or 13 if in EU).
