If you are into app development you also know how many of your clients
are into this "do a universal HTML5-App instead of two native ones"
thing right now. It's a strong trend and if you look into corporate
Apps I would say right now even more are being developed this way than
natively.
Of course, if you had more resources than one developer having to do
both apps plus other work you could make it look more native...

On the Android App: it's far worse than the iOS one. Most iOS devices
are at least powerful enough to make the WebApp responsive enough to
use, I find it OK. 
On Android, a significant number are not. And of those who do often are
from htc who seem to have scrolling issue on some of their devices.
