I have one of the first models released and most of my issues have either been fixed or are nothing more than a periodic minor annoyance. Thunderstorms to the south of my satellite antenna cause more problems and even that is less of an issue than the reliability of my prior cable TV connection.
As a network device, a Squeezebox is completely dependent on the quality of the home network provided by the buyer. Talk about a wild card that is out of Logitech's control.
