In my opinion the knob never was a good idea for people being half asleep. My wife and me rather use the Power button to shutdown the alarm reliably. Pushing the volume button is Snooze by the way. I'm pretty sure the changed behaviour of the alarm window was documented in the release notes, unfortunately Logitech does not have better means other than to mention them on this forum together with the announcement of a new release
