Your radio is not acting as a server. MySB is the server and the Radio is connecting as a client. It's an outbound connection similar to the ones you browser and your router, your phone and pretty much anything on your network use all the time, there's also no bigger security risk than that.
Even if somebody hacked Logitech's server all that would probably happen is that the Radio would lose the connection and then your link is gone. At no time can MySB reach your radio by itself, it has to wait for your Radio to connect, when it has done that.
