Go to the web interface (IP:9000). Click Settings (lower right corner)> Advanced tab > Software Update pull down > Do not check for SW update. This setting will not prompt you for firmware upgrade when you connect to your SBS server. However, if you connect to Mysqueezebox.com, it will still prompt you for the most current (7.7.2) upgrade.
