Logitech(?) thoughtfully provided access to the chip's control functions through its Linux driver. Or, at least, some of them. I have no great knowledge of these things, but they typically offer themselves as 'solutions' for low power audio devices, and have a number of built-in processing paths for inputs and outputs, volume control, equalization & sound effects, etc. The Radio seems to use one channel of the chip to drive the bigger speaker and the other channel to drive the smaller speaker. Use of headphones would, I think, switch back to a 'regular' stereo configuration. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mrw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38299 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=95659 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
