We do have different UI philosophies - I try to keep more space around menu items and buttons which makes the UI look cleaner and it also doesn't have as much buttons around on the main screen which often do confuse some users (or are hard to hit, when they are small). Also I stick to the menu philosophy of the Squeezeboxes, which makes it easier for people to switch between devices, as they don't have to remember different paths in the menus ... stuff like that But I want to repeat: "it boils down to personal preference" and typically me and pippin do have very different opinions about that and used to start arguing a lot about what is better.
