It syncs time with the latest connected server ,that could be your own local LMS server or mysqueezebox.com . That means that it usually keeps time without any intervention at all . (besides some bugs where this don't always works ) . Also there is some history behind this ,the old squeezebox players did not have any onboard clock at all ,so the server time mechanism was invented . Funny enough the squeezebox Boom that can not function without a server can display time without it ? (it was the first squeezebox that had a clock ) . You could open a bug about it , to have it keep displaying from the latest known time sync . But I think the rationale for omitting this is that there is actually no time settings in the Radio ,you wont be able to manually correct the clock if offline for a long time . So they made it simple it is a NMP a "network music player" that depends a networked server for all it's content ,so thats no big deal . But then it's complicated by it's line input but thats an extra not it's main use . ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96654 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
