You do have to set timezone, though. I was four hours different when travelling, and one of the things I tried to do was to set the timezone correctly. Had no effect until I was back online at home, at which point it showed a time four hours later than true. Doesn't make sense if it's syncing with the LMS time, which is set correctly. Does make sense if it's syncing with a world clock somewhere, one that doesn't try to infer timezone from IP address or something.
