In case anyone needs additional Squeezebox radios (can you ever have too many?) Amazon still has them at $98.94 as of today with free shipping while both Crutchfield and Best Buy show them as Discontinued.
So, either a new model will be introduced shortly (unlikely) or this may be the end for the Squeexebox hardware as we know it. Hopefully the CSOS project will be successful and offer some options in the not too distant future.
