Why did you have no luck on the Squeezebox firmware? If you would actually tell me what exactly you want to do, it would be easier to tell you if it will work.
If you have an actual streaming URL you can enter that in iPeng UE, play it or save it as a favorite. Flash-Player URLs will obviously still not work.
