Having a fixed ch for WiFi is recommended for basic and reliable WiFi use anyway, regardless of the WiFi devices in use. My Radio (and three other SB players) work flawlessly on ch 11 on my WiFi.
If the router keeps changing ch's then *every* device will be disconnected from that router (WiFi). Obviously this interrupts the stream. Now the devices need to reconnect onto the new router assigned ch. How fast (and successful) this happens depends on the device. Full fledged computers and more advanced devices like smart phones will do this rather quickly.
