I wanted to control my radio with a spare SKY remote I had. You can
also get new ones on ebay for less than £8. However there appears to be
no code available to control the squeeze radio. So a simple way to do
this. The radio uses NEC format IR. Programme your SKY remote as a
Toshiba TV - press tv, then hold select and red down, wait for the two
flashes then type in 0536 - wait for a confirmation flash.
Now update the IR file on the radio, SSH in and go to
/usr/share/jive/jive/irMap_default.lua - make a copy and then use vi to
update - below you can see my changes 0x02fdxxxx are the lines that have
been changed.
Cheap quick way if you either have a damaged screen/controls or just
want a remote control and don't have the Logitech one.
