To find the codes for the remote you're trying to program, set the Player.IR logging to Debug, check save logging settings for restart and restart the server. Point your remote at the boom and for each key pressed on the remote, you'll find the scan code that LMS sees logged in server.log, usually with multiple lines. This is due to most remotes sending the key codes multiple times for each press. If you don't see anything in the logs, be sure you restarted LMS. Also some remotes just don't work, for example none of my Sony remotes send codes that LMS can use. Here's an example from server log using a remote which has no matching IR codes in the map files.
